In November 2019, the GECF 5th Gas Summit will take place in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea as part of the Year of Energy 2019 initiative.
Organized every two years, the GECF Gas Summit brings together Heads of State and government officials of the members of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, including Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, the United Arab Emirates and Venezuela. The Summit provides these top-level officials with an avenue to discuss trends in the gas market and potential policies for the energy sector and to collaborate.
Running alongside the event, is the 2nd International Gas Seminar.
Just like the first edition, the 2nd GECF International seminar will be attended by GECF and non-GECF Ministers, Academics, oil and Gas industry experts, CEOs of IOCs, NOCs, Analysts and the Media. It is expected that this edition of the seminar will set the Organization on the part to consolidating its position as a reference institution on natural gas matters.
