The 2nd International Gas Seminar was held on November 27, 2019, as part of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum 5th Gas Summit in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. The Seminar was organized by Africa Oil & Power and is part of the Equatorial Guinea Year of Energy.
Heads of state and energy ministers from Nigeria, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, Angola and several other countries gathered to increase cooperation among leading gas producers.
Building on the success of Equatorial Guinea’s 2019 Year of Energy initiative that positioned the country as the energy and investment capital of the continent, the Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons is continuing its outreach to global investors through its Year of Investment 2020 initiative.
The transition represents the company’s commitment to the future of energy investment, sustainability, inclusiveness and diversification.
